Welcome! This blog is a way to share my passion for living a bit lighter everyday. What does living lighter mean? It means finding ways everyday to reduce my and my family's impact on the planet. I won't be the next Greta Thunburg as I want to fly to visit different places but I want to know the impact of that trip and other ways I can reduce my footprint so I can travel.
I have always been interested in "Green" initiatives since meeting my husband and living in Tahoe & Berkeley, CA. I was fortunate to start the Green Team at one of my prior employers and realize that companies can make an even bigger impact on the planet. Then, when we moved to a great town in NJ, I met up with other like minded people and started a Green Team here.
This blog was a way to share what I have learned more broadly and not be pestering my friends and family every time we are together!
